Great, finally the truth on Zidane's headbutting case is revealed. Most of us have already guessed that Materazzi MUST have insulted Zidane that forced the World best player to be so enraged. Despite me wanting Italy to win, i definitely admire him "Zinedine Zidane" as one of the best player in the world. As one of the best players in the world, he should have realised what is gonna happen to him when he head-butted someone is a game however all of us HUMANS, do have a limit to our perseverances and tolerances and the insult by Materazzi have however crossed his limits and im sure it should have been the same for anyone out there because i would get enraged too. Here's the comment by Materazzi; "I didn't say anything to him about racism, religion or politics," Materazzi told the Gazzetta. "I didn't talk about his mother either. I lost my mother when I was 15 and even now I still get emotional talking about her. Naturally, I didn't know his (mother) was in the hospital, I give her my best wishes. He's always been my hero, I admire him a lot." Here's the truth by Zidane; "I apologize, to all the children who watched the match Sunday, Zidane said in his first, highly-awaited comments about the act of violence that marked the end of his career. Zidane did not specify exactly what Italian defender Marco Materazzi said that enraged him, but that it was insulting to his sister and mother. I would rather have taken a punch in the jaw than have heard that, Zidane said, stressing that Materazzi's language was very harsh." Now for my words; "F*&^ you Materazzi. Look at your records dude. U almost limped Stewart in the game between Everton vs Hudderfield and to top it up, u got a record of having 3 red cards and 12 yellow cards while serving Everton. U sure are trying to act like a Cantona ain't u.." Now for the FIFA probe. FIFA may stripped Zidane for the Golden Ball award as the Best Player in the world. Its simply standing on his principles that a Referee is the most powerful humans in the soccer field because no player can insult a referee (of course thats important), and all other players WILL withstand of any insult gave by other players and if u lose ur temper, u will be punished!! When i think about it, Zidane is already retiring and that match was suppose to be his last match (wasn't it crucial and important to him!?) and of course he would have tried his best to persevere in any harsh plays. What has happened now is mentality of the player and how much can he withstand humiliation. So thats all for my comments between Zidane and Materazzi. I will conclude my speech; "Good luck Zidane for your future endeavour. Im sure ur fans will forgave u." |
